JUMPSTART OHIO’s annual breakfast to raise funds and awareness of our inside and outside programming dedicated to transforming the lives of justice-involved men and women.
We begin inside Ohio's correctional institutions with an intensive forty-week, life-changing program. Our post-release services include securing living-wage employment, safe and supportive housing, transportation, recovery services, and introductions to a community of support including personal mentors.

About the Community Impact Breakfast
OUR GOAL:
Break the cycle of men and women returning to prison in Ohio and transition our graduates from incarceration to productive lives. We are modeled after our sister organization in South Carolina with a 15-year track record including a 96% success rate of graduates not returning to prison.
OUR BREAKFAST PROGRAM FEATURES:
Will highlight JUMPSTART’s success offering original and innovative character development programming in prisons and vital re-entry services upon release.
Will include testimonials from participants whose lives have been changed by the program, business leaders benefiting from employing returning citizens, and community leaders volunteering to help us transform lives.

A recently released JUMPSTART graduate will share how she entered JUMPSTART programming seeking hope and change and left as a transformed person.

All event costs will be underwritten by a sponsor, allowing every dollar raised that day to transform lives.

Back on My Feet

Will help provide annual inside-programming for one JUMPSTART correctional institution.

Inside leader, mentor and volunteer training to serve 65 participants over 40 weeks of programming costs including books, course materials, course incentives and a graduation celebration.

JUMPSTART OHIO will be providing programming in five correction institutions by the end of 2025.
Annual Academics

Provides one incarcerated participant JUMPSTART’s 40-week inside-programming.
Scholastic Scholarship

Provides a returning JUMPSTART citizen with rental assistance and reliable transportation.
