Re-entry program gives inmates a jump start on life after release

JumpStart conducts programming in 13 South Carolina prisons, including Lieber Correctional Institution near Ridgeville in Dorchester County. The program is designed to help inmates find stable jobs, housing and mentorship once they are released from prison. Since 2010, more than 1,000 inmates have completed the program and been released.
